Now featured in Landscape Photography Magazine!

Now featured in Landscape Photography Magazine!

I’m pleased to announce that one of my images has been featured in the May 2016 issue of Landscape Photography Magazine. The image, titled “Tree of Life” was selected as the winning image for the “Wall of fame” section of the magazine, which highlights the best image submissions for the enthusiast category. This image is one of my favourites and can be purchased as a print here.

I noticed the sky had some potential one Sunday afternoon so decided to take a quick trip out to Lake Samsonvale and see what developed. As the sun set the sky was overtaken with dramatic tones and vibrant colours. I set the camera to interval shooting so I could relax and watch it unfold. Venus at dawn

Was in Tassie this weekend and decided to get up at 4am like a crazy person. Just before dawn I managed to capture a number of shots with Mercury and Venus near the horizon and the core of the Milky Way Galaxy overhead. An Electrifying Summer

It was an epic night on February 1. After a scorching 35 degree day, severe thunderstorms broke out in the afternoon. Combined with the light of sunset it made for an awe inspiring display of nature’s fury. Unfortunately I didn’t have my camera with me at sunset, but I came out later in the evening to follow the fireworks display nature put on in the evening.
